Born and raised in Maple Ridge, Danica is a local visual artist and muralist.   Her works include painting, drawing and mixed media art.  As an artist, Danica really enjoys working with images of animals and humans, and often includes that type of imagery into her pieces.  Her work

is often recognized for its bright and vibrant colour combinations, as well as a strong sense of depth, light

and shadow.

 

Besides being a working visual artist, Danica is also an experienced art instructor.  She runs art classes through her own company, Artica Creative, but also teaches with various organizations across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including Young Rembrandts of Canada, and the City of Coquitlam.
